Assam: Son Of E- Rickshaw Driver Misses Rank By Small Margin In HSLC Exam; Seeks Financial Aid

GUWAHATI: A student named Mizanur Zaman, who is the son of an e- rickshaw driver of the Nalbari district in Assam, missed securing a rank in the HSLC exam by a small fraction of marks.

Notably, Zaman was just 6 marks away from securing a rank in the recent HSLC exams of Assam held by the SEBA.

The results for the same exam were declared on Tuesday.

Zaman got 582 out of 600 including letter marks in all his subjects.

With Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics as his subjects, he stood at the state's highest and he wished to become a future doctor.

Although due to his family's poor economic background his potential of going forward with his higher studies has come to a halt. Due to this, Mizanur is still not able to decide where he is gonna study and under which college he will get admitted for his higher secondary education.

Meanwhile, AIUDF today said that needy students who are suffering from a poor economic background and needs financial help will be assisted by the party so that they can continue their higher education. The party has also released a helpline mobile number for the same assisting the needy students.

It is said, Mizanur drives an e- rickshaw to carry out his daily expense for study and his father drives the same e- rickshaw to earn so that the livelihood of their family keeps continuing.

Mizanur and his family request anybody who can help them with monetary support so that a brilliant and deserving student does not lack behind in getting a higher education.
